Revd. Timothy Wilson

Tim joined the Great Chart and Singleton parish in Summer 2003, following a period of nine years establishing the new parish of St. Philips in Margate. He was, therefore, the very first vicar of that parish! Before that he was curate to a church near Bridgnorth in Shropshire, which he joined on completion of his theological training at Oak Hall College, North London.

Prior to entering full-time ministry, Tim completed a number of years of work in the building industry. During this time, he was also actively involved in children and young peoples work at local churches.

Music is a key aspect of Tim's character - his father's role as a church organist providing a foundation for a lifetimes involvement in church music of all types. He remains actively involved in the choir at St. Mary's. Tim is married to Catherine, and they have three sons and a daughter.

Revd. Jackie Cray

Jackie is our part time non-stipendiary minister. She also works part-time as a teaching assistant in Charing C/E Primary school.

Jackie was ordained Deacon in July 2004 and hopes to be ordained Priest during 2005. She has worked for CPAS, as an advisor on outreach, support for families and young children. She has also written two books about the value of children and families in the church, as well as keeping busy with the Soul Survivor Youth ministry.

She is married to Graham and has two grown-up daughters - Catherine and Sarah. Jackie is partial to both brightly coloured clerical shirts and cats of any size or variety.
